Borneo is famous for its wildlife, and we appreciate that this may be one of your main reasons for wanting to visit Sabah. SUN BEARS

The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre is home to the world’s smallest bear whose existence is threatened by forest degradation and poachers who sell cubs as pets. Here view the bears in their natural environment and the knowledgeable rangers will point out individual bears and talk about their personalities and stories.

Orangutan

Founded in 1964 to rehabilitate orphan orangutans the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is world renowned and loved by visitors of all ages. Here you can see the precious, enchanting and captivating orangutans as they learn to live in the wild at the Sepilok reserve which is virgin lowland equatorial rainforest.

Kinabatangan River CRUISE

The Kinabatangan River is Sabah’s longest river and the river, mangrove and river bank are home to an amazing array of wildlife and birds. As it's nature, nothing is guaranteed but on a river cruise you could see proboscis monkeys, Malay sun bears, and the shy and endangered pygmy elephant.
