Your exclusive Private Charter will be departing from / returning to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) flying with Sabah Air. The flight, with your agreement will be scheduled for an early morning departure when there’s the greatest chance of clear weather and accordingly the best views of Mount Kinabalu and surrounding UNESCO World Heritage Kinabalu National Park.
Mount Kinabalu Helicopter Sightseeing Flight: The Routing
The flight will proceed directly towards Mount Kinabalu, flying over Penampang, Babagon Dam, Kiulu Farm Stay to Kundasang. During the scenic flight, passengers will experience aerial views of the surrounding highland landscapes and biodiversity en route to Mount Kinabalu. The aircraft will operate at approximately 3,500 ft above the Kundasang / Kinabalu Park area for optimal viewing (subject to weather and operational conditions). On the return sector, the route will include scenic flyovers of Sulaman Kamabong Mangrove, Karambunai (Rasa Ria), Tuaran coastline, Teluk Likas (Yayasan Sabah), and Kota Kinabalu city along the Likas Bay shoreline before returning to Kota Kinabalu International Airport in a flight that will be approximately 60 minutes (including ‘start-up’ and ‘shut-down’).
Please note that the final routing and altitude may be adjusted by the pilot-in-command depending on weather, visibility, and air traffic control requirements to ensure safety and best possible scenic experience.

Mount Kinabalu Helicopter Sightseeing Private Tour Important Information
· This private charter flight provides for approximately sixty minutes in the air and up to a maximum of four pax per flight (subject to weight)
· Children must be at least seven years old to fly
· We will always try to accommodate your preferred date and timing for the flight; however, if this is not operationally possible, we will provide you and your party with alternative options. Our recommendation is that you consider an early to early-morning flight as the light is often at its best for air2ground videos / photos as well as in-cabin pictures including ‘selfies’.
· Blue Kinabalu Travel Agency require all participants (or guardian if the pax is under 18 years old) to sign a “Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Indemnity Agreement” prior to flight
